Kriti Sanon is an Indian model and actress who was born on July 27, 1990. About her early life and background, she hails from New Delhi from an educated of a CA family. She attended DPS (Delhi Pubilc School), while did her Electronics Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology from Noida. After her education, she got the opportunity in modeling wherein she did different TV commercial of a number of brands like Samsung, Amul, Vivel, Himalaya and Close Up. Kriti was seen active in the Wills Lifestyle Indian Fashion Week held in Bombay during 2010. In the year 2012, she was also seen in the Chennai International Fashion Week along with the India International Jewelry Week. Lastly, she was also seen modeling for a number of popular designers including Ritu Beri, Niki Mahajan and Suneet Varma.
While she was enjoying her successful modeling career, she got her debut Telgu movie called Nenokkadine, which is basically a psychological thriller of Sukumar, while her first Hindi movie happens to be Heropanti, which is right now in the post production phase. She acted opposite Mahesh Babu wherein she did the character of Sameera, a journalist in the film. The film got mixed review; however, Kriti Sanon was able to garner positive reviews about her performance. The film really did good business in overseas market with almost all the critics were seen signing her tune. The Time of India called her a gorgeous actress who was successful enough to justify her role in the movie. Moreover, Deccan Chronicle was seen applauding a lot by calling her a seasoned actress who was not at all seen like a newbie, which can be called as a big complement for her.
All in all, a majority of critics were seen applauding for her good performance, beauty and her acting skills, which often is showcased as any actor or actress is seen getting matured with so many roles. Soon you will now see her in her Bollywood debut movie called Heropanti, which is basically a remake of the movie called Hero (1983) with the male lead character played by Tiger Shroff, which released in 2014. She then got another movie from B Town Dilwale wherein she worked with Varun Dhawan, SRK & Kajol. She currently working with the film Rabta opposite Shushant Singh Rajput, while her other film Bareilly Ki Barfi is in pre-production stage. She has also done a Telugu film – Dohchay released in 2015.
Talking about her personal life, she is still single though she has been linked with Sushant Singh Rajput. As far as awards are concerned, she has been nominated for Debut actress for her film Heropanti and won BIG Star Entertainment Awards, International Indian Film Academy Awards and Filmfare. She was also got her nomination for her film Dilwale in Best Supporting Role actress at the Lux Golden Rose Award.
