Kangana Ranaut slams Jaya Bachchan’s ‘gutter’ revolt: “What if Shweta was molested and Abhishek, bullied?”

The wife of Shenshah of Bollywood, Mrs. Bachchan who also is a Samajvadi Party MP recently spoke about the falk and constant negativity that Bollywood has been receiving in the recent past. Jaya Bachchan relentlessly spoke in favour of Bollywood on the second day monsoon session of parliament in the Rajya Sabha and pointed out on comments by Kangana Ranaut and Ravi Kishan who is a BJP Rajya Sabha MP.

Jaya on Kangana Ranaut's gutter comment

Jaya Bachchan was infuriated by the ‘gutter’ remark made by Kangana in reference to Bollywood and Ravi Kishan’s comments too. She said, “People in the entertainment industry are being flogged by social media. People who made their names in the industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree. I hope that the government tells such people not to use this kind of language. Just because there are some people, you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame.”

As expected, Kangana has made a comment over this and asked Jaya Bachchan if she would have reacted in the same way had her daughter Shweta Bachchan and son Abhishek were molested and bullied respectively. She wrote,  “Jaya ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta beaten, drugged and molested as a teenage, would you say the same thing if Abhishek complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also,”
