1 ) Kahiin Toh Hoga And Trishna Inspired by Pride And Prejudice
There are so many best sellers that are turned into movies. In the similar way, the Ekta Kapoor TV serial ‘Kahiin Toh Hoga’ which aired on Star Plus during September 2003 to February 2007 was also a story inspired by the novel Pride and Prejudice. The lead actress Amna Sharif played Kashish. She was shown a proud daughter who was very close to her father. They were four sisters. Rajeev Khandelwal was also a part of the serial. It was basically a romantic drama. The story of Kashish’s younger sister seems to be similar to the characters Mr. Wickham and Lydia from ‘Pride and Prejudice.’
