9 Possible Mandatory Installs
Mandatory game installs? That’s not exactly a selling point to us! We’re not sure what would possess Microsoft to think this would be a good idea but Xbox fans are pretty mad about it.
If you’ve been a fan of Playstation for a while, you were there when the PS3 blew it… sort of. The console embraced a gaming experience that would be hampered by loading times. The best way to promise this was by installing a game. So while some will argue that what the PS3 did was mandatory and unfair, others are perfectly okay with it.
Perhaps what has everyone up in arms about this is the fact that it’s being called a “mandatory game install” which sounds ominous like we’re going to buy the PS4 and wake up in a bathtub of ice with a kidney missing. Chances are, even if PS4 does embrace this game install thing, it won’t be for every game and certainly nowhere near a bad as it sounds.
