Taapsee Pannu is a Delhi based actress working in the films in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. She is best known for her roles in films like Aadukalam, Mr. Perfect, Chashme Baddoor, Aarambam, Pink, The Ghazi Attack and Running Shaadi.
Taapsee in a Delhi based girl born in a Punjabi family. She was born on 1 August 1987in Delhi. She was brought up in a Jatt Sikh family in Delhi. Taapsee describes herself as a tomb boyish girl who loved to stay outdoors and indulged in fights with boys. She loved to play with her gang of friends and was fond of adventure sports. Taapsee was also good at studies securing very high marks in exams. She was a head girl in her school. She studied in Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar Delhi. For her graduation, she decided to take up engineering from Guru Tegh Bahadur Isntitute of Technology in Delhi. Taapsee had always been encouraged to have a solid educational background by her parents so she concentrated on her studies before anything else. She had even aspired to take and MBA degree but fate had another plans for her.

Taapsee’s major career break came with the film Pink in 2016. It was social drama revolving around a Delhi girl who struggles her way out of a legal trap after she is sexually harassed by her male gang of friends. She won the Golden Rose Rising Star award for her role in Pink. Taapsee’s two latest releases are The Ghazi Attack and Running Shaadi.
