Bollywood celebrities find love amongst their co-actors very often. One such couple that was rumoured to be dating each other was actress Richa Chadha and the chocolate boy Ali Fazal. Recently Ali put an end to the rumours and confirmed his relationship with the actress byposting a picture of them together.

The lovey dovey couple is all set to tie the knot too. As per the reports, Richa and Ali were to get married earlier in 2020. However, given the current pandemic crisis, the wedding bells are put on hold. The couple publicly announced of the delay in the marriage owing to the Covid-19 fiasco.

“Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the later half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families and well-wishers to be affected.”
The two of them also did a photoshoot together and were featured on a magazine cover for a bridal themed shoot.

Richa has been extremely fond of Ali ever since. Her profound love for Ali became even more evident as she described how she said the 3 magical words to him for the first time. Here’s what she said,
“We were at my house watching the 1992 biographical comedy, Chaplin. I was happy to see him enjoy the movie and grateful to have found someone with similar tastes. That is when I said, ‘This is really sweet, I love you’, to him.”

Richa also revealed that it took almost 3 months for Ali to respond back to Richa. However, when he did, it was as romantic as ever. “He had planned a romantic dinner on a small, secluded island in the Maldives. I thought it was for my birthday. I didn’t suspect a thing. We had finished eating and were sipping champagne when Ali, being his spontaneous self, asked me to marry him.”
“He didn’t go down on his knee, nor did he have a ring but that’s all right. After that, he took a 10- minute long nap on the sand.”
“I think it was because he may have been stressed about the proposal,” Richa added.
