Rakhi Sawant is inarguably the controversy queen, she always makes headlines for the wrong reasons. She is back in the news once again. Rakhi has landed in trouble this time. Honeypreet Singh Insan’s mother Asha Taneja has filed a Rs. 5 Crore defamation suit against the actress for playing her daughter in a movie based on Ram Rahim.
Rakhi Sawant is playing the character of Honeypreet in a movie and has threatened to expose both of them. Honeypreet claimed to be the adopted daughter of self-proclaimed Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is currently in jail after found guilty of rape back in August 2017. Honeypreet has also been arrested in October last year. After her arrest, Rakhi said that she has known Gurmeet’s ‘daughter’ for a few years now.
Talking about the movie, she said to TOI, “Yes, I’m playing Honeypreet as I have known her for seven to eight years. I know everything about her…Now that she is arrested, I will change ending of the movie from Honeypreet getting murdered by Gurmeet to her getting arrested,”
Earlier, Rakhi Sawant had claimed that she has met Gurmeet on several occasions and he was sexually interested in her. She said, “Baba wanted me but Honeypreet warned him to not get involved with me as I could spell trouble for him in future. She was uncomfortable of my proximity with him,”
Gurmeet was sentenced 20 years prison for raping two women. He is currently serving his term in Rohtak Jail.
