A couple of days ago, I had written a piece on how post-Mohabbatein, Amitabh Bachchan is going through the best phase of his career. He is able to experiment with his roles, never mind the Aag, Boom and Department in between, something he was not able to do much in his younger days. He was able to attempt more genres be it romance, drama, thriller, action, supernatural, war drama, comedy, and romcom. He won three National awards purely for his performances in this phase, unlike the first award he won for Agneepath, that many accused of being a consolation prize.
