‘Kareena Was So Young That I Used To Pick Her Up And Play With Her’, Says Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar talked about the actors who spend 200 days shooting films. In fact, Akshay was speaking that why he releases many films in a year instead of a festive release. He appeared on an event with co-star Kareena Kapoor of the film Good Newzz.

Akshay said, “I am not the kind of actor who stays in a hotel for 2 months and gets into the character completely. I can’t do it. It’s just acting. Don’t know why people take so much load.”

Akshay further said, “It takes me a day to understand my character and do everything else according to the director’s direction. I don’t understand why people take 200 days to shoot exactly such a film.” “Impossible” (Hollywood Movie) was shot in 55 days. Are we making anything bigger than that? “

The actor was asked about bringing more than one film in a year. “I finish the film in 40 days. I do 4 films in a year. That means I am 205 days free. I can do 8 movies in a year. But I pity the audience,” He said.

The duo also talked about their work equation and also shared the secret, Kareena said, “When Akshay was giving the first shot of one of his films, I was behind the camera.”

Akshay revealed, “When I was working with Karishma, Kareena was so young that I used to pick her up and play with her. Today she is my heroine.” 

Kareena confirmed the topic, “For me, coming home with Akshay is like a homecoming. She is like a family member. When I work with her, I am completely relaxed.”
