Salman Khan’s speech on the 26/11 attacks:
Salman irked the nation when he put his opinion on the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai. In an interview to a Pakistani channel, he mentioned that the attacks were highlighted because the terrorist targeted rich and elite class of the famous 5-star hotel in the city. He further added that such attacks have happened before but why before those attacks didn’t get a highlight. Khan’s comments did not go down too well with the political parties, including Shiv Sena, and finally, Khan sought apology for his statement.
