Cricket is an unstoppable race of ambitions and benchmarks for the cricketer sports men. And inorder be a part of this race, every player has to exhibit fitness and good performance. But being the clelebrated sport crickets is, there are several instances when the cricketeres have a ball of a time. These parties contribute to the cheat days for the players as they indulge into drinking and smoking.

1. Virat Kohli

The Captain of the Indian Cricket team, Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the finest cricketers the world has seen. So much do that he is often speculated to surpass all records set by the legendry Sachin Tendulkar.

But at the beginning of his career, Virat was a chain smoker and avid drinker. It was only after the 2012 IPL that this cricketer gave up his ardent habits. However, not completely did he quit. He still sips onto the wines occasionally.

2. Sachin Tendulkar

India’s favorite batsman of all times, Sachin was never an avid drinker. However, his fantasy for expensive wines was distinctly seen on several occasions. His pictures showed bottles of expensive wines next to him and the cricketer sipping onto it.

3. Ishant Sharma

The Indian fast paced bowler, Sharma received unprecedented love and support after his impeccable performance in the 2008 BC series. It was soon after that, when one of the pictures showing Ishant drinking on alcohol ardently in a Sydeny carousel went viral. The picture did create a stir of controversies for the cricketer. However, given the kind of performance Sharma exhibits, the news died down as time passed.

4. Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj’s sister in law Akansha Sharma made an electrifying accusation against the cricketer of being a drug addict. However, his father, soon turned down the allegations proclaiming these to be baseless and rubbish.
Though the controversy was short lived, Yuvi’s love for drinking was not. He was such a fervent drinker to an extent, that he had to fight for life against cancer. Upon successfully recovering from the disease, Yuvraj finally gave up on smoking and drinking altogether.
