The Clash War Between PadMan And Padmavati CALLED OFF, Akshay Kumar Was Asked For A Compromise
A few moments ago, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 met Team PadMan to resolve the clash war which was previously all set to hit the theatres on 25th January.
Padmaavat and PadMan were all set to hit the screens on the same date leading to a major clash war considering the star power both the films had, it would definitely have been an intense battle. Sources from Viacome 18 spoke EXCLUSIVELY to Filmymantra that the clash war has now been put to rest. Akshay Kumar willingly called off the clash by postponing the movie to a further date in February. Akshay Kumar has agreed to postpone PadMan to February 9 and has allowed Padmaavat to enjoy a solo run. This means that now both the movies will enjoy a solo run in the theatres.
This has come as a big relief to distributors and exhibitors who were confused as hell on how to divide the two bonanzas with equal display. It’s only humble and oh-so-generous of Akshay Kumar to have taken this big step which will ensure success and major viewership for both the films.
