10 Indie Movies which Definitely Deserve a Watch

All of us definitely love Bollywood. But apart from mainstream cinema which is packed with romance, actions and visuals larger than life, there are some films which are truly hard hitting.  their plots revolve around serious social issues which need to be known by as many people as possible. Here is a list of movies which are made with efforts worth out appreciation.

1. Udaan

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, ‘Udaan’ talks about issues most of the teenagers go through and the most special part of this movie is that unlike many other movies having the same thing, Udaan does not involve a love story. Rohan, the protagonist of the film is a 17 year old boy who returns from a boarding school to live with his authoritarian father who wants his own son to address him as ‘sir’. His father does not approve him of showing interest in poetry and literature as well and the way Rohan deals with all this will make the audience think.
