Veteran actor Om Puri passed away on Friday morning in Mumbai due to a cardiac arrest. Om Puri was only 66 years old when he died.
Om Puri along with Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Smita Patil was credited for being part of parallel new wave cinema that brough change in the film industry in the 1980s.
