In the past, we have seen that the Mummy franchise has given back to back hits since 1999. The last part of the franchise was released on August 1, 2008, as The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. In that 3 movie series, the main role was played by Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz as Richard and Evie respectively. After nearly 8 years, we will see a whole new level of the action-horror movie.
Directed by James Jacks and Sean Daniel, the movie is slated to release on June 9, 2017.
