10 years old Suhani Bhatnagar played the role of young Babita Phogat in the Aamir Khan starrer film Dangal (2016). Suhani was seen in many TV commercials and print ads. She was selected by the casting team of Dangal after she auditioned for the role. In the movie, Suhani plays the younger role of second lead wrestler Babita Kumari Phogat.
She along with Zaira Wasim , playing young role of main lead, feature in the major part of first half of the film. Suhani had to gain weight and look fit to get training for wrestling for the role. In the film, she is seen as a sweet innocent village girl who obeys her father’s orders to train herself as a wrestler.
Suhani hails from Delhi. She was born in 2007. The sweet girl got much recognition after the movie Dangal released. She was seen among the cast of the film promoting the film ahead of it’s release. The cute girl looked very adorable in the film as complying the orders of a strict father who wants to make his daughters wrestlers. As a child actor she has impressed everyone.
