Lopamudra Raut slender and attractive figure combined with her intelligence got her far in the Miss United Continents 2016. Beating all odds in her way, she became the second runner up in the contest. Lopamudra is presently a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 10.
Lopamudra hails from the city of Nagpur in Maharashtra. Since her childhood, she was good at both studies and sports. She joined G H Raisoni College in Nagpur for pursuing her degree in Electrical Engineering. Alongside her studies, she continued her modeling assignments and participated in various contests to establish her as a model. Coming from a conservative family, Lopamudra did not have the support of her parents in pursuing a career in glamour industry. Her participation in Femina pageant in Goa where she won the first runner up came as a big break- through for her. This gave her an easy entry in the Femina Miss India contest 2014.
Lopamudra Raut was observed to be a strong contender for the title but failed to win it however she made it to the top 5 list. She won the Miss Body Beautiful title in the contest thanks to her fit and attractive figure. Later she was selected for various other contests including Miss United Continents. As a representative of India, Lopamudra did not disappoint her country and came through the contest winning the title for Best National Costume. She also ended up as the second runner up for the crown.
After Lopamudra returned with accolades from the prestigious contests, she received many modeling and endorsement assignments. She is presently a strong contender for winning the show Bigg Boss 10 being aired on Colors Channel. She has presented herself as a well mannered but bold and stylish girl on the show.
