“I think right now especially if you look at Sunday he probably has the same goal that I have. [He wants] to win the Intercontinental Championship and make it as important as he can. I’m trying to win the US Championship and make it as important as I can. We do have a lot of events in recent memory, so I’m not saying it’s never gonna happen, but it probably won’t happen on Sunday.
We’ll have to wait and see, but I’m glad there’s a want and anticipation for that. Daniel’s a hell of a competitor for that and it’s a pleasure to be in the ring with him.”
