Jacqueline Fernandez is a Bollywood actress originally from Sri Lanka. She was a beauty queen who rose to fame thanks to her slender and athletic body. She signed endorsement assignments in India which in turn brought her many lustrous acting projects. On the merit of her acting and beauty, she has risen in her Bollywood career with hit films to her credit such as House Full 2, Kick, Brothers, Housefull 3 and Flying Jatt.
Jacqueline was born on 11 August 1985 in Bahraini Sri Lanka. She participated in Miss Sri Lanka beauty pageant in 2006 and won it. Before this she took a graduation degree in Australia in Mass communication and Journalism. She had worked as a reporter in a TV channel in Australia before gaining fame as Miss Sri Lanka. She had also done many modeling assignments.
Jacqueline’s Bollywood career started with the Riteish Deshmukh and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Aladin in 2009. It was a fantasy drama which was followed by another one of a similar nature called Jaane Kaha se Aayi Hain. With this she bagged many potential roles in movies like Housefull I & II and Murder 2 that established her as a leading actress. She got commercial success with films like Race2 , Kick and Roy. Brothers , Housefull 3 and Flying Jatt got her much recognition. In her career spanning 8 years, she has worked with actors like Salman Khan, Emraan Hashmi, Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and John Abraham.
