The beautiful Huma Qureshi is an actress in Bollywood known for film like Gangs of Wasseypur, Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Ek thi Dayan, D- Day and Dedh Ishqiya.
Huma was born on 28 July 1986 in a conservative Muslim family based in Delhi. She has three brothers and the youngest one Saqib Saleem is also a budding actor in Bollywood. After a small stint in modeling Huma auditioned for roles in films which fetched her a Tamil gangster movie Billa II. But unfortunately the film was shelved and she opted out of it to try her luck in Bollywood. She made her debut with the popular film Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012. She worked in both the parts and made an impact with her performance. Her career took off from there and she went on do lead roles in films Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana. She acted in a TV series Upanishad Ganga.
Back on silver screen, Huma Qureshi was seen in the horror flick Ek Thi Daayan with Emraan Hashmi. Later she was cast in the thriller D-Day. Huma was seen in a major role in Dedh Ishqiyan in which she shared screen space with veteran actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Madhuri Dixit and Arshad Varsi. It was a role of great potential and contributed to her popularity. She followed it up with better roles in Badlapur and Highway.
Huma , in her career span of six years, earned many awards for her impactful acting. The films she received awards for include Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1 and 2, D-Day, Dedh Ishqiya, Ek Thi Daayan, Badlapur.
Huma is presently working in the film Viceroy’s House which is slated to release in 2017.
