The eighth installment of Fast and The Furious has released and it has tremendous opening at the box office on its first day.

The action drama has a collection of 14.50 crores at the domestic market. The franchise has a huge fan followers in India and there was a great expectation on its opening. Its previous installment, Fast and The Furious 7 grossed around 12 crores on Day 1 in India and collected 110 crores, which has raised the bar for its 8th installment.
Till now it has become the 5th Highest opening in 2017 standing behind Raees,Kaabil , Jolly LLb 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Let’s see whether it surpasses its previous installment collection or not!!
This week Vidya Balan’s starrer movie “Begum Jaan” has also released and we are waiting to see how both the movies perform at the opening weekend. We don’t see much competition between both the movies as both have altogether different target audiences.
The Fate of the Furious is directed by F. Gary Gray and is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell. It is written by Chris Morgan and Gary Scott Thompson. The film has been shot in different locations around the world including Mývatn, Atlanta, Havana,Cleveland and New York City.
The Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson starrer Fast & Furious 8 has also got Academy Award winner Charlize Theron who plays the role of fierce villain named Cipher.
And good news for the Kannada audiences as this is the first Hollywood movie to be dubbed in Kannada language. The film will be released internationally in 3D, IMAX 3D and 4DX.
Let’s wait and see how it grows in business in the coming weekend and we hope it picks up the pace at the box office.
