Elli Avram is a Bollywood actress who is Greek-Swedish in origin. She worked in the film Mickey Virus and was a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss. Elli is also a professional dancer and has participated in Jhalak Dikhkla Jaa on Sony TV.
Elli was born on 29 July 1990 in Stockholm Sweden. She had special liking to dance and music from Bollywood and she performed widely on stage on the songs. She was part of an international dance troupe that performed across Europe mainly on Bollywood songs. She acted in Swedish acting projects of which Forbjuden Frukt got her fame. In 2010, she participated in Greek beauty contest.
Elli Avram entered Bollywood with her modeling assignments and worked in advertisements for EverReady Battery and a jewellery brand. She bagged her first Bollywood film Mickey Virus which was a thriller comedy by Saurabh Varma. As she was not familiar with Hindi, she had to take a formal training for the language to get her work right. Following this she was seen in the reality show Bigg Boss 7. She survived on the show for about ten weeks and was later evicted.
Among TV shows, Elli’s performance in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa was very impressive. After her participation in Bigg Boss7, she appeared as a guest in Bigg Boss 8 and 9. She has acted in a music video by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Elli worked in the film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon with Comedian Kapil Sharma playing lead. She was among the three female leads of the film. Presently Elli is working in the film Jolly LLB 2.
Elli Avram is popular among her co stars as a smart and cheerful girl. She is very easy going and friendly. Although she is working as an actress at present, her first love remains dance.
