Disha Patani is the new glam queen in Telugu films and Bollywood. Having worked in a series of commercially successful films recently, Disha has short to fame thanks to her gorgeous looks and talent. Disha was the first runner up in Femina Miss India in 2013 after which she entered films. She is known for her work in MS Dhoni and Kung Fu Yoga.
Disha was born in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh on 13 July 1992. Disha Patani was inclined towards studies as much as she loved dancing. She studied for a B Tech degree in Noida but her interest in modeling and dance was so strong that she could barley complete her studies while pursuing a career in glamour industry. She participated in Femina Miss India contest held in Indore. She was the first runner up in 2013. This fetched her many offers from ad films including Cadbury Silk one which got her fame. Following this Disha did a Telugu film named Loafer in 2015 which was her film Debut. The film was a lukewarm Box office success.
Disha’s big break in Bollywood came after her music video with Tiger Shroff released. Disha’s previous movie projects with Karan Johar and Tiger Shroff had not worked out but the music video Befikra made her highly popular. Her dance and her slender body made her a star over night. This was followed by her small role in the film MS Dhoni. She played the role of Priyanka Jha in the first half of the film.
Disha’s latest film Kung Fu Yoga is a Hindi- English-Chinese movie with none other than action Guru Jackie Chan. This international project came as a great opportunity for her and the film is doing great business worldwide.
