Being a cricketer ain’t an easy job! While you hold the responsibility of representing the entire nation, you leave your family behind most of the times, as you move to countries for tournaments! Amidst this, the latest trend suggests that the cricketers now make their wives and kids travel along with them to these various tournament destinations! Apart from the matches played, the cricketers also manage spending some quality time with wives and girlfriends out states! This probably has not gone down well with BCCI, who have now imposed a ban over WAGs!
BCCI has recently put a ban on wives and girlfriends of Indian cricketers restricting the ladies from accompanying their spouses to England till the 3 matches to be played against England get over! The wives and girlfriends have been busy posting pictures over social media, that have managed to receive lots of love from the fans but have not gone too well with BCCI!
There have been a number of incidents that suggest the cricketers get distracted due to the presence of their spouses and looking at the form of the Indian cricket team, seems like BCCI is in no mood of taking a chance in the upcoming matches and hence a ban on WAGs!

A close source revealed, “We’ve had four days of rest before settling down for the serious task ahead. The players had moved out with spouses, friends and relatives and tomorrow (Monday) we will leave for Chelmsford!”
Seems like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, the newly weds too will have to stay away all this while and we’ll miss out on the Virushka moments in the matches to be played!
