A marriage certificate dated February 18, 2011 is doing the rounds on internet that shows the Iranian beauty got married to model Lalit Tehlan in an Arya Samaj wedding.
he certificate shows Mandana’s photo, but mentions the name as Manizhe Karimi, which is her Twitter handle. Lalit Tehlan has also been linked to designer Rohit Bal in the past. . The Arya Samaj marriage arrangement between Tehlan and Karimi was naturally short-lived after a work permit was obtained.
In 2011, when this report had surfaced Mandana had denied the news. “Yes, I’m dating Lalit, but we’re not getting married. The wedding certificate that you have, cannot be true, as my name is Mandana Karimi. Lalit is my boyfriend, and I am well-placed to tell you that we aren’t married yet and are not planning to tie the knot anytime soon,” she was quoted saying in the report.
