Irfan Khan’s son pens down a heart wrenching post in the memory of his father
The year 2020 has taken away some amazing talents from Bollywood. The loss of the most skillful actor Irfan Khan in April 2020 was a huge one. Ever since his death, Irfan’s son Babil has shared several memories of his beloved father. Right from defeating his dad at the box office, to talking about “hunks with 6 pack-abs” to posting several moments from Irfan’s life, Babil has posted it all.
Recently being the vocal boy he is, Babil penned down a very emotional post about the loss of his father and how is the family dealing with it and also promised to be by their side always. Babil shared some beautiful pictures of the family members in the post.

The first picture is a black and white photo of Irfan Khan with his wife Sutapa. He seems to be whispering something to her on the set of a film. Remaining two pictures of the carousel post are of Babil with his sibling Ayan.
Babil captioned it as,
5 years too much,
And now you’re a stranger 5 years in lovePickin straws out of the haystack
Flicking through the picket pages
Of the books I never read through. And that’s just one half of itThe other half is you,
Gleaming through the wicked winter moon,
I wish I could fit in your shoes. You have gone so far away. And I’m always just a little too late. Plucking the strings of my sitar to soothe, These Monday morning blues And I carried on like the wayward son, In the wayward sun, but I found myself roaming the wastelands. I was high, when I witnessed my mother cry. I might never win. For, never will forget me, the unforgivable sin. Blood on her lips, crippled my heart. Pierced my soul like an adamant dart.

The poem is extremely heart touching and clearly depicts the agony that Irfan Khan’s family is in. Babil ended the poem saying, “Ma, my ma, tell me you love me too. Ma, my ma, I would give it all for you. (Yo bro, u know I love you more than life itself.)”
