8 Rivalries In Bollywood That Seems Impossible To Be Sorted

Rivalry is something very common in Bollywood. In fact it is something that has always been a part of film industry. If you will go through the Bollywood history you would find rivalry is nothing new in Bollywood. In each era there were actors and actress who were rivals of each other. Shahrukh and Amir is one of the many examples of rivalry. Though Srk and Salman has ended their year- long rivalry and became best buddies again. If we dig the past we will come across many Bollywood celebs who once were friends but their friendship hit the bad phase and they become enemies. Not everyone is like Khans who becomes friends after maintaining a tag of rivals for years. Here are few stars who can never becomes friends again. 1. Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi: Let's start with the popular rivalry of Salman and Vivek. This was started way back to controversy when the whole media was flashing the same news that 'Aishwarya Rai being slapped by Salman.' She blamed the bad boy of Bollywood for molesting her, Vivek came for her defense. After this whole incident of molestation Aishwarya started dating Vivek Oberoi leaving Salman to live alone. That incident made them( Salman and Vivek) the lifetime enemies. 2. Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone: Here comes the name of Deepika and Sonam in the list of rivals. They have both professional and personal reason to hate each other. Their rivalry started from the moment they stepped in this entertainment world. Their debut films were released on the same day that ignited comparison on their acting skills and talent which rifted them apart ultimately. Moreover Deepika during her early time started dating Ranbir Kapoor who was earlier linked to Sonam. Though Sonam denied any such grudges between them. She said there is no such rivalry. It is just the media tha dragged her name into the war of words with Deepika. She said, "I didn't even mention her name, but as usual my words were lost in translation." Soon after Deepika announced her plans to support the cause of mental health, Sonam commented that she would never publicize her plans to do social service. Yes we all know what she really meant. There are many such incidents that proves their rivalry but Sonam Kapoor never accepted that and keep blaming media. 3. David Dhawan and Govinda: Famous actor Govinda and filmmaker David Dhawan were once best buddies. They have worked together on different movies and earned great success. They became the favorite director-actor Jodi of the masses for years and together have given many blockbusters. After being friends for so long their friendship hit the rough phase. Govinda has personal issues with David as he stated “No, I don’t want to work with David Dhawan as he didn’t stand by me during my bad patch. I feel when a person thinks that you are not capable of doing his film or working with him, then one should not ask for work, or work with that person if he thinks that you are a liability on him. I think the love between us, that has been there over the years, should remain the same. We should live a healthy life. Currently, he is a proud father and let him be happy. I have nothing to do with his films, nor do I want to discuss films with him." 4. Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone: It is tightly said that two actress can never be friends in entertainment world. The newest duo in this rivalry circuit is Anushka and Deepika. We all know that they have a big reason to be rivals. Deepika is dating Anushka's ex, Ranveer Singh.Although There are many more reasons. They gt into conflicts for desiring same roles and commercial adds. Anushka lost out on ye 'Jawani Hai Diwani' by an inch and Deepika catched that role this worked as the fuel to the fire of their rivalry. The intensity of their hatred for each other can be seen in Anushka's statement where she said she hadn't become an overnight star like Deepika Padukone. A real cat fight indeed. 5. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee: Rani and Aish were known to be good friends until Rani decided to accept the role opposite to Shahrukh in 'Chalte Chalte' which Aishwarya was supposed to do initially. That created a huge rift between them. Another reason for their rivalry is there was a time when the filmy lanes were flooded with the rumours of Rani and Abhishek's affair but at the end Aishwarya was the one to get married to Abhishek and their rivalry become permanent since then. 6. Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor: There are two reason of their conflict. First one is very obvious professional reason while the other one is quite personal. Kareena and Priyanka stepped in the film industry almost together and the desire to become more popular than the other drifted them apart. The personal reason is as we all know about that after dating for almost 5 years Kareena dumped Shahid and got hitched to Nawab of Bollywood after which Shahid dated PC. 7. Deepika Padukone and Katreena Kaif: Deepika and Katreena have their own personal and professional reasons to be each other's rival. The personal rivalry of these actresses is for obvious reason. Deepika Padukone was dumped by Ranbir Kapoor, who is the present boyfriend of Katreena. Leaving their personal equation aside Deepika and Katreena, both are the top actresses of Bollywood. Hence they fight for the same position on the box office which explains their conflict. 8. Shraddha Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra: The new comers like Shraddha and Parineeti are also there in this rivalry circuit. They become each other's rival because of professional reasons. They entered industry together and thus the competition and objective to be the most successful took a toll on their equation. Another reason for the enmity between these two young beauties of Bollywood is, as it was rumoured, Pari became very close to Aditya Roy Kapoor during the shoots of 'Daawat-e-Ishq' raging the Aashqui 2 actress being well aware that Shraddha and Aditya Roy Kapoor shares a special bond.
