6 Bollywood Movies that Never Got Released

We have often seen celebs have many movie releases in a year. There are handfuls that do a single film in a year that successfully set some benchmarks to others. Well, among the released films, some are good, some of them are bad and rests are just awful. Bollywood is just hard to enter for a newcomer. He/she is not sure about how the film is going work or is it going to release or will be wrapped in the box. There are many stars that have seen the worst face of Bollywood movies, well the Bollywood movies that never got released. Check out some movies of Bollywood that never got to showcase themselves on the silver screen, the reason might be anything like some fatal accidents, censor board rejection or wrong timing. London in movies that never got released The film was under the wraps due to the creative differences broke out in between the producer of the film and Sunny Deol. The differences catch up when the two teamed up to narrate the story about an Indian immigrant experience in London. It would be rather an old story though, but then Sunny Deol took over the directorial rights and renamed the movie “Dillagi” and released it. The film, at end soon had to die and couldn’t make any extravagant release. 2. The Time Machine As the name suggests, it was a Sci-Fi flick with a back to future inspired ideas featuring Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon and Naseeruddin Shah. The film started the shooting and was only three-fourths completed when the director Shekar Kapoor decided to leave for Hollywood. Shekar, at least you would have completed the film and then go! It would be really nice to see the film in theatres. 3. The Pink Mirror The Pink Mirror aka Gulabi Aaina is said to be the first Indian Film to focus on Indian transsexuals. The film was directed by Sridhar Rangayan. The story of this film goes around on two transsexuals and a gay teenager’s attempts to seduce a straight man. It was banned by the censor board mentioning that the film was “vulgar” and offensive too. However the movie was screened and appraised at many film festivals all over the globe. 4. Paanch Paanch was a cult movie directed by the bigshot, Anurag Kashyap, who is well-known for giving a very ludicrous storyline with an essence of reality in it. But he also managed to get his name in the list of movies that never got released. The film fail in release as it was roughly based on the heinous 1976-77 Joshi Abhyankar serial murder case. The movie was heavy on violence and abuses. It was banned by censor board as they objected the film’s scene which depicted violence, drug abuse and explicit language. However, we manage to listen to some good number of item numbers for just fun. 5. Kamasutra 3D The name of the movie itself hints the reason it might have not released. Yes, the film features Sherlyn Chopra in a much censored role. However, this movie never got around making it to the 3D screen as our loyal Indian Censor Boards did not made approval. Well, the film did not roll on the floors and hence make it space in the list of movies that never got released. 6. Dazed in Doon Ratna Pathak Shah was the producer of this film. The film is based on the coming age story about a boy named Howly. He is studying in one of the prestigious Doon school who is trying to make sense of life. The film was banned by Censor Board of India as the Doon school appealed to Censor board that the film ‘spoils’ the name of the school.
