20 Bollywood Movies Hated By The Critics But Earned Over 100 Crores

The Bollywood movies earn more popularity because of the stars that the movie includes. Even though the movie is not that great, it will be a hit just because of the star cast. Their popularity leads to the increase in the monetary value of the film. The film was produced by Hrithik’s father himself- Rakesh Roshan and earned Rs. 244.92 crore. 2) Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo is a Rajshri Productions film where Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor played the lead roles. The critics didn’t enjoy the movie that much, but that didn’t affect its box office collection. It earned Rs. 208.88 crore. 3) Happy New Year Gauri Khan is the producer of this movie. The movie casted Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff. The movie couldn’t do well due to the story but still managed to earn Rs. 203 crore. 4) Bang Bang! The film is a remake of the Hollywood movie Knight and Day. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead role and earned Rs. 181.03 crore. 5) Dabangg 2 Directed and produced by Arbaaz Khan. The film features Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. It earned Rs. 155 crore. 6) Bodyguard The film is co written and directed by Siddique. The film stars Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. It hit the box office with Rs. 148.86 crore. 7) Dilwale Dilwale was directed by Rohit Shetty. It was produced by Gauri Khan and Rohit Shetty. Earned Rs. 148.72 crore. p 8) Singham Returns The film was released in 2014 and is directed by Rohit Shetty. Ajay Devgn is seen once again as the lead but the female lead is played by Kareena Kapoor and not Kajal Aggarwal this time. The movie earned Rs. 140.62 crore. 9) Ready It is an action romantic comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee. It stars Salman Khan and Asin as lead roles. It earned Rs. 119.78 crore. 10) Jai Ho It is a remake of a Telugu film Stalin. Director of the film is Sohail Khan. The film has a star cast of Salman Khan, Tabu, Daisy Shah, Aditya Pancholi and Danny Denzongpa. It earned Rs. 116 crore. 11)RA. One It is a science fiction film that released in 2011. It was directed by Anubhav Sinha and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Armaan Verma, Shahana Goswami and Tom Wu. It earned Rs. 114.29 crore. 12) Housefull 3 The film is of course a part of the Housefull series, co-written and directed by Sajid-Farhad. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and features Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in the lead roles. The film earned Rs. 109.13 crore. 13) Golmaal 3 the film is a Bollywood action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty. It is a sequel to the film Golmaal Returns.The star cast Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade are seen in the previous as well as this film of the series. We could see two new faces in this film, that is Mithun Chakroborty and Kunal Khemu. The movie earned Rs. 106.34 crore. 14) Son Of Sardaar And another action comedy film directed by Ashwni Dhir. The movie features Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt in the lead, also Salman Khan appears in a cameo role. The film earned Rs. 105.03 crore. 15) Bol Bachchan This film is made on a budget of Rs. 700 million. It was remade in Telugu as Masala. It casted Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin and Prachi Desai in the lead roles and the film earned Rs. 102.94 crore. 16) Race 2 It is a second installment of Race film series. The action thriller film is directed by Abbas Burmawala, Mustan Burmawala. It has an amazing cast that includes, Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bipasha Basu and Ameesha Patel. The film earned Rs. 100.45 crore. 17) Shivaay The movie released in the year 2016 and is an Indian action thriller film. It is directed and produced by Ajay Devgan. It had a star cast of Ajay Devgan and Sayyeshaa Saigal. The film earned Rs. 100.33 crore. 18) Rowdy Rathore The action comedy film Rowdy Rathore is directed by Prabhu Deva and stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. It earned Rs. 133.25 crore. 19) Housefull 2 The film is a sequel of Housefull.
