Yash Chopra Cremated In Mumbai, Bollywood, Fans Mourn
A mournful silence fell over the B-town yesterday evening (October 21, 2012) when the news of Yash Chopra’s demise broke out. The veteran filmmaker’s body was kept at the Yash Raj Studios since today morning for his close friends and fans to pay their respects.
Now, we are told, Yash Chopra’s last rites have been performed at the Pawan Hans crematorium at Vile Parle, Mumbai. And this was attended only by his family members and very close associates from the Bollywood fraternity. Also, buzz is that more than 500 police personnel have been deployed to keep the traffic in check around the area for the funeral.
