Bollywood’s biggest star, Amitabh Bachchan, lovingly called Big B, entered the limelight with the character of Inspector Vijay Khanna from this film. With his role in the film, his look and acting prowess, he created history in Indian Cinema.
This epic classical is still remembered for its powerful dialogues. The lead
roles played by Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Pran, apart from its music by the famous duo Kalyanji-Anandji, are still remembered. This is one film that can never be remade nor the star cast be replaced. Hats off to that era, director Prakash Mehra and of course the writer duo Salim-Javed! They deserve a big round of applause.
