To me, being a gangster was better than being president of the United States. This was the persuasion of a common school-going boy Henry Hill which later inspired Martin Scorsese to direct this movie. The entire script of Goodfellas was conceptualized from Nicholas Pileggi’s book “Wiseguy” which truly justified the real life of organized crime members. The star crew of Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta contributed significantly to make this film one of the greatest in the genre of crime.
