SRK’s love for gadgets is known to all, be it his iPad or the much showcased IO Hawk, which was well-utilized in the item number Tukur Tukur from his 2015 release Dilwale. And we also know that apart from owning the title The King Of Romance, the FAN actor is familiar enough as the King Of Marketing! You all must be wondering why we are suddenly glorifying him as a gadget lover & a marketing genius. Hope you all remember the king-size party that took place at SRK’s palatial residence Mannat as the Apple CEO, Tim Cook, came to pay a visit & interestingly it was Tim’s first ever trip to India. It raised many eyebrows thinking why Mr. Cook selected Shah Rukh’s place for the dinner party studded by other Bollywood stars, only because of SRK’s superstardom? The much hyped meeting was not meaningless at all! As per sources the Apple authority is keen to appoint the Baadshah Of Bollywood as their Brand Ambassador for India. An Apple insider revealed that the official announcement will be made when Apple will launch new iPhones in India & the day is not so far.

King Khan seems to be very fond of Apple products, if you notice you will see most of his tweets are posted from ‘Tweetbot for iΟS’. Even in many of his films we have seen him using iPhones & Apple laptops, for example, the still from Swades in the featured picture you see. Last year during the release of the Rohit Shetty film Dilwale, starring the 50 year old actor opposite Kajol, the Apple music store was widely promoted. The company also made a playlist of his hit songs which worked pretty well to increase their online music sales.

However, if everything goes according to the plan, we’ll soon get to see the Raees star representing the reputed gadget brand in India. Shah Rukh was last seen in the Maneesh Sharma film FAN & is working on multiple projects at present such as Raees opposite Mahira Khan, Gauri Shinde’s untitled film opposite Alia Bhatt & Anand L Rai’s next.
