Sridevi’s Dead Body Gets Clearance From The UAE Government, Body To Be Brought Back Today

Actress Sridevi’s death on 23rd February in Dubai was really a shock for everyone. It was unexpected that at such an early age she will leave for the heavenly abode. Just three months left for her daughter’s Jhanvi Kapoor’s debut movie ‘Dhadak’ and then she passed away. Earlier the reports claimed that the death was due to cardiac arrest, then there were new revelations in the case. The forensic report said that the actress died due to ‘accidental drowning’ in the bathtub of the hotel.

The Dubai ministry appointed many officials to probe into the case and her dead body has not arrived yet due to the lengthy procedures carried by the officials. Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor was interrogated for 16-18 hours by the Public Prosecutor and then he received clean sheet on the case. Now, clearance is given by the Dubai Public Prosecutor and Sridevi’s mortal is likely to arrive Mumbai today evening and the cremation will take place tomorrow. The body will be brought back by Ambani’s private jet that arrived on the day of her death. Also, a NOC is issued to Indian Consulate and Boney Kapoor.

The latest update read as “Dubai Police has handed over the Consulate and the family members letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor so that they can proceed for embalming.”

Actor Arjun Kapoor has flown to Dubai this morning to be with his father at the hotel. As per reports, the cremation will also be done today itself. The cremation will be in the traditional way and not in an electric style. For more updates on Sridevi’s death, keep reading our space.
