Rajeev Khandelwal Holds the Poor Release of His Films Responsible for Failure

Rajeev-Khandelwal

The well known Indian television actor Rajeev Khandelwal stepped into Bollywood in 2008 with the critically acclaimed film Aamir. The film proved to be a turning point in his career, giving him the big platform to showcase his talent. The actor also tried his hands in several television shows during his film commitments, to stay connected with his roots.

Rajeev Khandelwal did a lot of films during his 8 year career, but was unable to get the box office response that the actor thought to receive. Performance of the actor was appreciated by the critics, but despite his commendable work the actor didn’t got the spot that he deserves.

On the failure of his films, the actor states that iff critics appreciate my work and still the film doesn’t work, then that means it’s not because of me. It’s because the producers didn’t release it in a way for it to succeed. Like the film Samrat & Co. released in such a strange manner that people didn’t know that the film is releasing.

“The film Soundtrack had come, no one watched it and later when people watched it on DVD, all said that it was a very good film. People always say that they didn’t watch Soundtrack in the cinema hall and if they didn’t watch it was not because of me, it was because it was the responsibility of the producer to release it well’, he further added.
