SRK Makes Heartfelt Speech At KJo’s Autobiography Launch!
‘Raees’ star Shah Rukh released Karan’s book by saying that he doesn’t feel that ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ is an apt title for his book, it could have been anything else, ‘A Good Boy’, ‘An Intelligent Boy’, ‘A Sensitive Boy’, ‘A Brave Boy’, or perhaps ‘The Most Beautiful Boy’. Khan added that, “Karan is a good boy, and his parents, Hiroo and Yash, would attest to it. It doesn’t matter even if it’s 3 am, he likes to spend time with his mother. Karan understands people.”
Shah Rukh ended the launch jokingly by adding,
“I used to feel I have arrived if I will win a few awards. I will feel that I have arrived, when I sign with a certain director, and so on. But I feel that I have truly made it in Bollywood, because my family has an entire chapter in the book.”
“An Unsuitable Boy” is one of those rare celebrity autobiographies that gives the impression of complete candidness. The book talks about various phases of Karan Johar’s life including his first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan to his passion for Hindi films and his unrequited love of life. A lot has already been said and written about the book and Karan’s confessions in it, even before the launch of the book.
