Srimukhi is an anchor and actress in Tamil and Telugu TV shows. She hails from Nizamabad near Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh and is presently settled in Hyderabad pursuing her acting career. Her mother tongue is Tamil. She has worked on shows on ETV and Maa TV.
Srimukhi got her first major break when she started hosting the show Adhurs. Following this she hosted the reality singer hunt show Super Singer 9. Later she grabbed an opportunity in the film Julai in which she played the role of Allu Arjun’s sister in 2012. As she was impressive in that role, she was cast in a lead role in the movie Prema Ishq Kaadhal.
Srimukhi continued to bag roles in films. In Nenu Sailaja, she played the role of Ram’s sister. She played key roles in the films Life is Beautiful and Savitri. Following this she made her debut in Tamil and Kannada movies. In Tamil she was noticed for her performance in Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai. She got recognition in Kannada film Chandrika.
As the beautiful actress has great anchoring skills too, Srimukhi got the opportunity to anchor international South Indian film awards held in Dubai. Presently she is hosting the show Pataas on ETV. She is also working on many Telugu film projects.
