Shamata Anchan is a gorgeous Indian TV actress and model, who is best known for her commercial ad Garnier Fructis. She hails from Mumbai wherein she was born and brought up at, however, her parents belongs to Mangalore, Karnataka but have shifted long back to give the life to her in Bombay. She did her schooling from Lilavatibai Podar Senior Sec HS while her college was carried out at Welingkars College, Mithibai College Juhu in Mumbai. She was active in sports and cultural activities and soon got engaged in modeling which led her to participate in a number of fashion shows and beauty contest. She is the winner of Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2012 pageant apart from being one of the finalists of Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2012.
Talking about her debut in small screen, it all started with a television who called Everest, which was produced by filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar. She then played the character of Anjali Singh Rawat who happens to be the main lead in the show along with Rohan Gandotra and Sahil Salathia. The show aired on Star Plus channel while Shamata Anchan has done an extended cameo in the upcoming Hollywood movie called Heartbeats. She is the female lead of serial Bin Kuch Kahe which will air on &TV in October. She has done a number of commercial advertisements for a number of popular brands and has done modeling along with the print campaigns for many fashion designers. She was also a part of Chal Kar Pehel, an initiative launched by Star Plus.
The girl however, grabbed the attention with her acting skills in very first TV series Everest. She is often seen in different ads and known for her advertisements for a shampoo brand. She will soon be seen in & Tv’s upcoming show Bin Kuch Kahe, which is all set to hit the TV screens soon. Talking about her personal life, she is still single but not keen to mingle with anyone since she is more interested in focusing in her career. So, it’s first the career and then the man in his life to settle down, that’s her mantra at the moment.
