Mumbai: It is in the air that Shah Rukh Khan has signed an upcoming movie project with filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, better known as Raj and DK duo.
The directors have confirmed that ‘King Khan’ just need to work on his dates for their project and then the official announcemnt about the collaboration will be made.
The filmmaker duo said, “It is our favourite script that we have held on to for a long time. We met him and discussed the script. He enjoyed the universe that the film belongs to. The story has elements that resonate with us and it is upto him to officially announce it.”
The director duo had a recent Bollywood project, Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’, in their kitty of successful films.
When announced, the movie will be the first project taken up by SRK after his box office debacle. It is to be mentioned that Zero was the last film starring Bollywood’s ‘Badshaah’ along with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film did not gross the expected appreciation from viewers and since then SRK has maintained a distance from the silver screen.
While Shah Rukh and Anushka have not been active in these times, Katrina Kaif went ahead to wor with projects like Salman Khan’s Bharat. The actress will also be seen in yet-to-be released Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar.
