Bollywood Dabangg Salman Khan is one of the most successful actors in the film Industry. In the last few years, he has broken several records at the Box-Office. At latest, his flick ‘Sultan’ earned 300 Crore net income in India. He became the first superstar whose two films are raked up over 300 Crore, the other one is ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. In the top three highest earning Bollywood movies, Salman Khan has starred in two of them. So, now the question arises why Salman Khan Movie works wonder at the Box-Office? The other question also that comes in mind, Why ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’ only crossed 300 Crore mark, why not his other films? Here’s the success formula revealed!
Actually, if you take a look at Salman Khan’s last two films, you will see that both of these movies stories are rooted in the village and have a simple character. In ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ he was a Lord Hanuman Devotee and a simplistic person and then he tries to help a girl who mistakenly crossed the borders. Simplicity was the only factor in the movie that made the connection with the audience. Salman didn’t try to be super fancy in his role, he stayed just as like a normal being and that’s what done the magic for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
Now if we talk about ‘Sultan’, this film also has a simplistic backdrop. This story was also rooted in the village of Haryana, where Salman learns wrestling in order to win the heart of Anushka Sharma. What connected with the audience was the smell of the soil and a genuine acting by Salman Khan. There was not a single scene in ‘Sultan’ where you will feel that he was overacting it. He did true justice with his simplistic character and that really connected with the audience. The scene which stole all the limelight was when Salman showed his fat tummy in the mirror and cried a lot. The theme of the movie was ‘fighting with his own self’ is what connected to every normal people.
So, this clearly means that he is not trying any more kick in the movie and remains simplistic to his roles. Even in his upcoming flick ‘Tube Light’ with Kabir Khan, his character is somewhat simple. So we could expect another massive 300 Crore hit in Eid 2017!
