Sagarika Ghatge is a popular B Town actress who did her entry into the industry with the film Chak De with Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead actor in it. She was born on 8th January 1986 in Kolhapur. She did her schooling from her home town in school called Mayo College Girls while later went to do her graduation from HR College of Commerce and Economics. Since she was active in her college days in cultural activities thus it led her to enter into the Bollywood making her career in acting. Hence when she completed her education, she headed to Mumbai to pursue her dreams into acting.
She soon entered into the world walking over a number of ramps for various brands and later got the chance to be picked up for the film Chak De wherein she played the character called Preeti Sabarwal in the film. She also appeared in a couple of reality shows including Fear Factor, Khatron Ke Khiladi and emerged as the top finalist in the same. she is also a sportsperson and have been a national level athlete as well. After her entry into the movies, she got the chance to be the India’s brand ambassador of Rebook India.
She also appeared for a number of fashion magazine apart from seen in different fashion shows. she got the film Fox in 2009 wherein she played the character called Urvashi Mathus she then played the character Kamiah in Miley Naa Miley Hum. She got her next lead role in the film Rush opposite Emraan Hashmi, which was released in 2012. Her next venture was the Marathi movie called Premachi Ghoshta opposite Atul Kulkarni in 2013. She then learnt Punjabi to do a Punjabi movie called Diladiyaan. As far as awards are concerned, she has won the best supporting actress award at Screen Award for Chak De, she also got Lions Gold Award for the same. Talking about her personal life, she is dating former cricketer Zaheer Khan and is keen to marry him.
