Piya Albela is an upcoming serial with a beautiful cast and a love story as it’s core subject. Piya Albela will be launched on Star Plus soon. It is produced by Rajashri Productions. Suraj Bharjatya himself launched the show with the lead actors Sheen Dass and Akshay Mhatre playing the pivotal characters.
Piya Albela will be a unique love story that will also have the flavors of a family drama but will be fresh targeting the younger audience. The show will be telecasted in the prime slot on Star Plus.
The star cast includes Akshay Mhatre as Naren and Sheen Dass as Pooja. They will be supported by Avinash Wadhwan, Jyoti Gauba, Ankit Vyas, Vijay Kalvani, Parul Chaudhary, Tushar Khanna and Kuldeep Mallik.
Serial has been shot in Mumbai under the production banner of Rajashri Productions and distributors are Zee Entertainment. The show will go on air from 6 March 2017. Sooraj said on the launch of the show that the subject is quite close to his heart and he has been working on it since few years now. The producer who is mostly known for his family dramas is venturing into this love drama which will be telecasted every Monday to Friday from 8.30 p.m.
The posters of Piya Albela have been released. They depict a mythological figure wearing a turmeric yellow dress. It has sparked ht rumors that it is based on the concept of Vishwamitra Menaka. Well.. the makers have not yet revealed anything about the concept of the show. So the plotline will be revealed only after the first episode.
