According to the actress,Indu belongs to a small town from UP.She has grown up in an orphanage.She has a speech impediment.She also writes poetry.She has a poetess side in the film.She finds a guy and gets married .
The whole film is based on the emergency period of 13-14 months.It shows how Indu who is unable to express herself and what situation she faces along with her husband during emergency.At the end ,she finally finds her voice.
