Calendar Girls director ,Bhandarkar stated that the movie is not related to the Gandhi family, but he did say that the movie has fictional elements that happened between 1975 and 1977. He has been doing lot of research like reading books on Sanjay Gandhi and meeting ace journalists.
The film “ Indu Sarkar” will no doubt raise the controversy meter high for sure.
