Becoming the first South Indian actress, Kajal Aggarwal, on Wednesday, unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds, Singapore. The actress was present with her parents, sister and brother-in-law during the unveiling of her statue.
Expressing her excitement, Kajal took to Instagram and shared her picture with a beautiful caption that reads, “Success is usually measured through tangible consumerism. A new house, a swanky car, first-class travels to exotic destinations. I’ve somehow never felt the thrill in any of this. People often questioned what success meant. Point is, I never felt I was successful. I’ve found my joy in moments. Moments of growth, moments where I’ve enjoyed my work to the level of being lost in it. I’ve felt so consumed that it’s meditational in quality. Finding your own person, equilibrium, regardless of expectations and pressure is true success! Staying loyal to your tribe and being treated with equality is being successful! The joy of discovering new experiences even though you’ve been exposed to the diverse plethora this world has to offer – success! Your innocence, your eagerness, your passion topped with a whole lot of curiosity to learn, defines success in my mind. I’m blessed to have found all of this in this lifetime and hope to reach the zenith of realising that I know nothing at all !”
The actress and her fan clubs on social media shared pictures of her wax statue. She posted many pictures in a row. The pictures can be seen below:
It is to be mentioned that in December, Kajal took to Twitter and shared this exciting news. She wrote, “I remember going to Madame Tussauds as a child and being so fascinated with all the figures that I’ve always admired and been in love with. Overwhelmed to be amongst them. This feels like a fabulous culmination so far and a great way to start the new decade on a good note. ” She further added, “The insane hours of hard work and personal sacrifices, all feel worth it. Forever thankful to all of you.”
On the work front, Kajal is currently busy shooting for Hindi film Mumbai Saga which also stars John Abraham. The actress also has a Hollywood project in the pipeline which will also star Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu in the lead.
