Jennifer Aniston ‘Reacts’ To Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie Divorce!
The world got a rude awakening when news of Angelina Jolie filing for divorce from husband Brad Pitt broke the internet. For some this perfect couple’s falling apart meant an end to all the relationship goals that they’ve set all these years, for others it was karma working its way and setting things right!
Confused? Let’s jog your memory a little bit. In 2005, Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina. And now if sources are to be believed, Aniston sees this fall out as ‘Karma’.
According to a report by Us Weekly, an insider revealed that Aniston’s reaction to the split was, ‘Yeah, that’s karma for you!’
The 47-year-old actress admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split, according to the insider.
Jennifer Aniston, who is now married to actor Justin Theroux since 2015, was previously married to Brad Pitt. Pitt and Aniston tied the knot in 2000 and split in 2005. The marriage had hit rock bottom when the news of Brad Pitt having an extra martial affair with Jolie surfaced, followed by pictures of them hanging out.
It was in 2004, when Brad Pitt was shooting for Mr and Mrs Smith with Angelina Jolie that the rumours of them having an affair started doing the rounds.
In January 2005, Jennifer and Brad announced their separation.
Cut to the present – Angelina filed for divorce on Monday citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and asking for physical custody of their six children – Maddox, aged 15; Pax, aged 12; Zahara, aged 11; Shiloh, aged 10; and twins Vivienne and Knox, aged 8. She is not asking for spousal support.
After the news of their divorce broke, Brad Pitt released a statement saying, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
“This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time,” Jolie’s attorney Robert Offer said in a statement.
