Earlier Sonakshi Sinha was finalised for the film. But due to certain unspecified reasons Sonakshi walked out of the film earlier this month, there was a great speculation around the female casting. Now, we hear three actresses have been finalised for the film — Ileana D’Cruz, Athiya Shetty and Amy Jackson.
An insider confirms , saying, “The three girls have signed on the dotted lines and it’s official now. The Anees Bazmee-directed film will go on floors soon.”
According to a leading tabloid report, “Mubaraka” story will be about Arjun’s character, who is an eligible bachelor and two beautiful ladies want to marry him. Anil’s role is to play Arjun’s love guru and help him to choose between the two gorgeous ladies.
Produced by Sony Pictures, the Anees directorial will also collaborate with Anil and the director again after films like “No Entry,” “Welcome” and Welcome Back.”
