Before this, Salman Khan was the leading taxpayer in the country. He paid an advance tax of 16 crores in September 2016 as compared to 11 crores last year in the same period. And in the last quarter, he has been pushed to the fourth position by paying a tax of 14 crores.

Ranbir Kapoor is third in the race who has paid 37 crores as advance tax till December 2016. He paid merely 7.8 crores till Sep 2016. But by the phenomenal success of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Ranbir Kapoor has managed to get the third spot in the race.
