Gunjan Walia is a pretty actress working mostly in TV serials and in few Hindi films. She is married to TV actor Vikas Manaktala. The actress was previously a model and later joined Jet Airways as an Air Hostess. She was spotted by the casting director of Balaji Telefilms and was chosen for the role of Maliha in the serial Karthika. She has been part of many TV commercials and music videos. Her recognition as an actress came with the role Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye as she played the lead role in the serial.
Gunjan Walia was born on 4 November. She was educated in Mumbai. Being from a Punjabi family, she grew up with traditional Punjabi values. She started her modeling career after her higher education. Being tall and beautiful, she got many offers for ramp modeling and TV commercials. She participated in many beauty contestants and got recognition as a model. She took training for Air hostess and got opportunity in Jet Airways. She was working when she was offered role in a TV serial on Star Plus. Presently she is working in the show Ghulaam in which her husband Vikas Manaktala also plays a significant role.

Gunjan Walia had previously had a love marriage to Sachin Verma. The couple parted ways after one and half years of marriage. Gunjan faced a difficult time in her personal life. She met and fell in love with Vikas Manaktala who was her co-star in Ghulam.
