Says a close source, “Amy had cold feet and backed out from the television promotions of the film at the 11th hour, as she feels that her Hindi accent is being made fun of. Because of this decision, the makers are upset with Amy. However, the actress is on city tours with the team and it looks like she was just hesitant to interact on television. Or it could be that public appearances make her conscious.”
However, during Singh is Bling promotions Amy did go to promote the movie alongside Akshay Kumar on the same show, which makes one wonder why she backed out this time. When contacted, the spokesperson of the film refutes the allegations and says, “Amy wasn’t in town when the star cast went to promote the film on this television show.”The movie is all set to release on September 9 in theatres.
